Workshop offers opportunities not only to enrich the information being developed but also to develope collaborations with experts in the field of Commissioning. Participation in the workshop  which aims to emphasize the importance of  “Commissioning”  targets to bring together all stakeholders with the common understanding, to add value to all processes of built environment in cooperation with commissioning authorities globally and to establish collaboration with all related stakeholders for the transformation of business rituals and to assure its growth with a well designed regulatory framework.

Cormac RYAN has 20 years financial, marketing & general management experience. He manages COPILOT Building Commissioning Certification and has previously directed the HVAC business of Panasonic and of Sonepar. Cormac is a qualified accountant (ACCA 1997) and guest lecturer on “Disruptive Innovation”.
Erick MELQUIOND has more than 20 years management-level field experience installing, revamping, commissioning and trouble-shooting technical equipment. He is currently the President of Eurovent Certita Certification, leader in Europe for HVAC equipment third party performance certification. Dissatisfied with recurring building problems, he founded COPILOT Building Commissioning Certification to deliver buildings that actually deliver their performance according to plan. Erick specialised in thermal energy for his mechanical engineering Eng. diploma. 
Maija Virta (M.Sc.Eng) is the Founder and Director of the Santrupti engineers. She has 30 years of experience in construction and HVAC-industry around the world and has been in India for the last 7 years. Her key areas of expertise are Indoor Air Quality, building commissioning, high performance buildings as well as sustainable building policies and technology. Prior to moving to India, Maija was the CEO of the Green Building Council Finland. She has also been the vice-president of REHVA and the president of Finnish HVAC association SULVI. Among her various contribution to this field, she has authored many books and publications on sustainable buildings and technology - including the ISHRAE-REHVA HVAC Commissioning Guidebook. She has lectured on innumerable topics for ISHRAE, REHVA and ASHRAE. She is the member of two ISHRAE task forces: IEQ task force that has prepared the IEQ standard for India and HVAC Commissioning task force that is preparing the ISHRAE commissioning standard.
Ubaldo Nocera graduated in 1976 in Nuclear Engineering at the Politecnico of Milan, later choosing Parma as the site of its professional activity, holding tasks in design, construction management, testing, and consultancy in the mechanical and HVAC systems, TAB Agency and TAB Supervisor activities. Several thousand are the achievements of systems designed, directed and tested throughout the country and abroad. Since 2006, he committed to Commissioning Authority and Commissioning Agent activities, achieving the Certification of Commissioning Authority Bureau Veritas / AICARR.  Since 1988 and for over 15 years he has been a Councilor of the Order of Engineers of the Province of Parma. Former Adjunct Professor at Politecnico of Milan both for the Faculty of Architecture - course of Technical Installations - and Engineering - course of Building services system design.  He has authored many publications both for AICARR and other Associations on CDA, Italian Installer and magazines.  Over the years he has held various roles for AICARR, Member of the Council, Member of Executive Committee, Director of the HVAC School and with participation in conferences and other initiatives. Since 2015 he is Work Group Coordinator for the drafting of the Manual for the Aeraulic Design, member of the Commissioning Training Work Group as well as teacher of the Commissioning course and Coordinator of the Commissioning Technical Committee. He has been on various committees and work groups, the most recent been as a Commissioning Expert at REHVA/Eurovent group ABCE CxC/Copilot.  In 2019 he is awarded the Rehva Professional Award in Design. 
Walter Grondzik, P.E., Fellow/Life Member ASHRAE, LEED® AP, is an architectural engineer and a professor of architecture at Ball State University. He is author of Principles of Building Commissioning and co-author of Mechanical and Electrical Equipment for Buildings (12th ed.) and The Green Studio Handbook (2nd Ed.). His interests include building commissioning, sustainability and high-performance building initiatives, and all areas of environmental control systems and their effects on buildings and occupants. Mr. Grondzik has been active in the development of ASHRAE’s commissioning guidelines and he led ASHRAE’s efforts to harmonize commissioning terminology used by ASHRAE, the Italian society AiCARR, and CIBSE in the UK.
